Sunflowers at The Union

The Union is a licensed board and care in West Oakland, serving 24 transition-aged youth. The goal is to bring board and care homes out of the shadows, highlighting the important role they play in the broader housing continuum. The event will also demonstrate how special populations benefit from housing with intensive services such as medication management, meal preparation, grooming, and housekeeping services as residents recover. We think the discussion can be beneficial to developers who create PSH units and often need to refer clients to housing with a higher level of care.
