Social Housing is Real – Coops, ADUs, and CLT’s, Oh My!

Join Gray Panthers and friends for several stops to visit and see new local options in Affordable Housing. We’ll visit with residents of a self-governing, permanently affordable Housing Cooperative, and its Community Land Trust partner. We’ll then travel to meet a senior homeowner dramatically helped by Rebuilding Together East Bay, and hear from RTEB staff about their 2-year old “Big Skills” program that trains local youth for jobs in construction by building accessory dwelling units at a lower than usual cost and installed in the yards of low-income senior homeowners who need help to stay in their homes. We may get to see an ADU or tiny home along the way! (limited carpool option)
