On July 29, EBHO, in partnership with Housing California and the Residents United Network (RUN), welcomed nearly 50 community members and residents of affordable housing for the Bay Area RUN Regional Convening. The Convening is a free, annual event and space for residents of affordable housing to connect with one another, share their housing stories, and build power together to create change in the Bay Area and across California.
We saw so many familiar faces—folks we hadn’t seen in years!—and met several interested community members looking for ways to get involved in housing justice. EBHO was also joined by Corina Petty and her colleagues from Housing California. We even had a surprise guest appearance by former EBHO Suburban Organizer Davina Srioudom while she was in town visiting from her new home in New York!
