To close out EBHO’s 40th Anniversary year, we launched 40 Years, 40 Voices: Stories from EBHO’s Four Decades of Housing Justice Advocacy, a series of short videos highlighting the people who make EBHO special. From the organization’s first employee, founding members, resident leaders, staff, Board, partners, and supporters old and new, there are so many people who have contributed to the powerful legacy we share.
Videos were posted weekly leading up to our Annual Membership Meeting & Celebration on November 13th, each highlighting a different area of the EBHO community. We also created longer versions of the videos featuring some of EBHO’s founders and first members, Board members, as well as a compilation of all 40 videos we collected. We hope these stories inspire you as we look to the future of the housing justice movement in the East Bay and beyond.
This series was created by Communications Manager, Kate Young. She would like to extend a very special thank you to Matty Placencia for editing and co-producing this series and for helping us tell the story of EBHO from so many different perspectives.
