Housing as Healthcare introduces attendees to adult residential facilities (commonly known as “board and care” homes). Board and cares provide housing and services to high needs, vulnerable populations who require medication management and assistance with activities of daily living. Residents typically have a physical or mental health disability that requires additional assistance not available in traditional PSH. The event will provide an overview of how important this dwindling housing stock is within Alameda County and across the state of California.
