Oakland Committee Meeting

Event Series Event Series (See All)

September 25th @ 3:00 pm 4:30 pm

EBHO has its roots in Oakland; we were founded as Oakland Housing Organizations and we have a long history of advocacy and wins in the East Bay’s largest city including guaranteeing affordable housing in the Uptown development, the adoption of a housing impact fee in 2016, and establishing housing and homelessness as a top issue for Oakland’s decision-makers.

Today in Oakland, EBHO addresses critical issues including increasing funds for affordable housing development and preservation, displacement, zoning and land use, specific planning processes, tenants rights, and coalition building.  We also participate in several city-wide coalitions of community, labor and social justice groups to push for equitable development and stop displacement.

Our Oakland Committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month and is open to all EBHO members. To get involved, contact Dolores Tejada at dolores@ebho.org.
