Hope Solutions and Multi-Faith ACTION Coalition, in partnership with the City of Antioch, have been engaging and organizing faith communities and unhoused residents to build momentum for an innovative housing solution. Learn how we engage with the community and how people with lived experiences are embedded in our community organizing and policy efforts.
Our team is exploring the potential to develop permanent housing communities of micro homes with supportive services on unused faith-owned land. Our vision is to create a “community within a community” by arranging smaller-footprint manufactured homes in a neighborhood cluster that are integrated and welcomed by the house of worship. The City of Antioch is working on creative zoning reforms to allow such a project. Come experience a virtual walkthrough of a home and share your ideas on what these communities should look like and feel like.
