Rent Relief Information Session
April 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Rent Relief is Here: How will funds get to low-income renters and housing providers who need it most?
Help is here! After a year of organizing to fill the financial hole created by COVID-19 among low-income renters and housing providers, $171 million in rental assistance is now available in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Join EBHO Policy Associate, Alex Werth, as he shares information on who is eligible for rental assistance, and how low-income tenants and housing providers can secure the much-needed rental relief.
Friday, April 16th
12:00 PM via Zoom
Since the start of the pandemic, EBHO has insisted that no one who’s suffered due to COVID-19 should lose their home or end up with a mountain of rental debt. And we’ve called upon our leaders to prioritize assistance for tenants and owners of affordable housing so that our communities don’t lose this precious resource to speculative investors, who’ve caused so much housing insecurity for low-income residents and communities of color in the first place.
At this information session, we will explain how each city and county in the East Bay is distributing rental assistance and how to apply. We will also answer questions from tenants and affordable housing providers. RSVP here and share with anyone you know in the East Bay who needs this information!
In the meantime, view our E-blast that shares comprehensive rental information.
