The Oakland United Coalition is proud to present our Meet the Candidates Forum for Oakland City Council on Wednesday, October 26th from 6-8 PM.
Learn about your City Council candidates’ views on key community issues. As multiple critical developments are being considered across the city, it is vital for residents to hear directly from candidates regarding their expectations for equitable and successful developments.
We will be joined by candidates for City Council from Districts 2, 4, and 6, including Nikki Fortunato Bas and Harold Lowe from District 2, Janani Ramachandran and Nenna Joiner from District 4, and Nancy Sidebotham and Kenny Session from District 6 (additional candidates to be confirmed). All candidates will have a set amount of time to answer predetermined questions. This non-partisan candidate forum is open to all candidates running for Oakland City Council.
