Berkeley Way & BFHP Hope Center Construction Tour

May 11, 2022 @ 3:00 pm 4:00 pm

Location: Berkeley Way & BFHP HOPE Center, 2020 Berkeley Way, Berkeley, CA

Hosted by Berkeley Food & Housing Project, BRIDGE Housing, City of Berkeley, Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, Nibbi Brothers General Contractors

The HOPE Center is a joint development between the Berkeley Food & Housing Project and BRIDGE Housing. The Center will include a continuum of services for Berkeley’s very low-income, disabled and chronically homeless population including shelter beds for homeless adults, permanent supportive housing, transitional housing beds for disabled veterans, as well as 89 units of affordable housing.

A commercial kitchen, a daily communal meal for residents, and medical and mental health offices will also be available on site.

This project demonstrates the City of Berkeley and its nonprofit partners’ commitment to providing spaces for human growth. Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguín cites the HOPE Center as the project he is most proud of in his career as mayor.

Please RSVP below for a tour of the HOPE Center construction project in partnership with EBHO’s Affordable Housing Month!
