A critical vote on the $20 billion, 9-county Bay Area affordable housing bond measure is coming up and we need your public comment!
Action Needed: Attend the upcoming meeting of the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAHFA) on Wednesday, June 26 at 9:35 AM at the Bay Area Metro Center in San Francisco and give public comment. The final vote for the Bay Area bond will occur at this meeting and determine if it will be on the ballot in November. Your thoughts on why this bond is so important for your work and organization will help the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) understand the impact of the measure and feel more confident placing it on the ballot.
Background: NPH has been proudly anchoring efforts for our Bay Area Housing for All (BAHA) coalition to advance a $20 billion Bay Area affordable housing bond measure that would deliver a historic influx of resources for affordable housing and homelessness solutions through BAHFA. This bond could help create or preserve 72,000 new homes across the Bay Area!
