Aaron Tiedemann is the Policy Manager at East Bay Housing Organizations.
Aaron grew up in the East Bay and, after getting his B.A. in the United Kingdom, returned home motivated to improve his community. He worked for Alameda County’s Housing and Community Development Department for three years on affordable housing development and tenant protections before leaving to pursue a master’s in Public Policy at the Goldman school at UC Berkeley.
While at Goldman, Aaron also ran for and won a seat on the city council of his hometown of Albany, CA, where he currently serves as the Mayor and works to create more affordable housing in the community he grew up in. He is excited to be joining EBHO to create more equitable housing and ensure local government lives up to its potential to do good.
