Grover Wehman-Brown
Communications Manager
Grover Wehman-Brown is Communications Manager at East Bay Housing Organizations. She brings over a decade of communications strategy experience through writing, publishing, research, community organizing, and teaching to her role. As communications manager, they guide EBHO’s storytelling strategies about what affordable housing is and how we get an an equitable distribution of affordable homes rooted in just, thriving communities so profoundly need in the East Bay.
Grover earned an MA & PhD in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for their research on ending homelessness in the U.S., which she pursued after 4 years of homelessness and inadequate housing. A white person with a trans experience, Grover tends to plants, children, and community on the unceded Chochenyo Ohlone land called Alameda, CA.
